Patient care

We have many supportive care resources to assist you in serving Healthy Blue members. Here you will find behavioral health services, maternal child services, health education resources and disease management program support.

Behavioral health

Our behavioral health provider network includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, other mental health providers and employee assistance health care professionals. Our facility network includes hospital inpatient units, residential treatment centers, partial hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient services and programs.

Maternal child services

We encourage all our moms-to-be to take part in our New Baby, New LifeSM program, a comprehensive, proactive case management and care coordination program for all expectant mothers and their newborns. We also support the state’s CMHRP program.

Health education resources

We advocate a community approach to health education and outreach activities and have a proven record of collaborating with community- and faith-based organizations, advocacy groups and other community resources.

Conditional care

Our conditional care program is based on a system of coordinated care management interventions and communications designed to assist physicians and other providers in managing members with chronic conditions.
